Samantha Dorian is a sculptor working with found pieces often salvaged from mill buildings or old wreckage sites of deterioration. She has a love of all things old, rusted and full of detritus, but enjoys finding that point at which knowledge of what the objects where is somewhat irrelevant. After some work, what matters is that something new is found from the old and it asks the viewer to engage.
Jeff Delasanta has been part of the life-drawing community of Rhode Island for many years. He held drawing sessions for several years in Cumberland for various community artists and has been a mainstay at most of the life-drawing sessions in and around the area. Jeff continues to enjoy the various challenges that the human figure presents to the artist and his drawings often evoke a loose traditional, almost Renaissance, style.
